Our design created exclusively for our 2022 MB Harm Reduction Conference is now available to the public!

For International Harm Reduction Day on May 7, we’re bringing you our own harm reduction take on the iconic design by Experimental Jetset, with two designs in a rainbow of colours.

You don’t need to say it - you know harm reduction when you see it.

And for the first time, we have toddler t-shirts and baby onesies!

We know that getting vaccinated is sometimes portrayed as scary or dangerous when it’s actually a safe, easy, and very effective harm reduction measure for keeping ourselves and our communities safe. We noticed how similar this is to how many people think about needle distribution! Many people really focus on discarded needles, and fear or misinformation prevents them from seeing that giving out new needles is a safe, easy, and very effective harm reduction measure for keeping ourselves and our communities safe, too!

We hope that by wearing this shirt it’ll help you have positive conversations about both vaccines and supply distribution, which are both evidence-based harm reduction measures that are sometimes misunderstood.

We ALL love someone who uses drugs. In 2017 The MHRN launched the I ❤️Someone Who Uses Drugs Campaign. We’ve heard from our networks and partners that this campaign, more than anything else we have done, has started conversations, changed hearts and minds, and reduced stigma in communities where talking about substance use is taboo and where people are taught to reject their loved ones who use drugs.
