Prairie Sky (she/her)
Prairie Sky, also known as Manidoo-gwiiwizens, or Levi Alizaar Foy is the den mother of the Sunshine Bunch, founding member of the Bannock Babes the 1st Miss Queer Winnipeg, Synonym Art Consultation's Drag Curator, Miss Club 200 2020 and 2021, she’s been featured on season one of CBC’s Canada is a Drag, and was one of CBC Manitoba’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2019. She has been using drag to create connections in an often disconnected and frayed urban environment.
Levi, who is a member of Couchiching First Nation, is the Executive Director of Sunshine House and their approach to community work in and out of drag is rooted in Anishinaabe cultural practices.
Cake (She/Her)
Ms. Gateau, or The Wicked Witch of West Broadway™ has been an active member of Winnipeg’s drag scene for a number of years, and is the Co-Founder of the Big Girl Brigade. . Cake is somewhat of a drag chameleon; her style shifts between the dark and ethereal, and the bright and colourful –but always decadent! Community initiatives have been a large part of Cake's drag careerShe holds the titles: Empress 17 of Winnipeg, and Miss Club 200 2018-2019, and introduced the Mx. Queer Winnipeg Pageant to the city in 2017, raising over $20,000 for local charities and non-profits here in Winnipeg.
Local HoneY (THEY/THEM, hE/HIM)
Local Honey is a two spirit drag performer who started drag with the all Indigenous collective, Bannock Babes. From Ottawa to Dryden and back they have been performing with their aunties and cousins ever since! During the day Local Honey works for Sunshine House as the Mobile Overdose Prevention site coordinator.
